The Kherson CCI started preparations for translating this book from English. John Howard is a famous philanthropist whose life ended in Kherson.

Speakers paid a special attention to organization of hydrographic zoning of Dnieper basin’s territory; realization of Dnieper Basin Strategic Action Program in order to reduce pollution with persistent toxic substances within the UNDP-GEF project, development of geoinformation system (GIS) of Dnieper basin’s subbasins.

TEKNA program director Bjorn Borgaas and “Cleaner Production” chief manager Leiv Bjerke visited Kherson to congratulate new program leavers. According to the tradition, all leavers of previous studying cycles since 2007 were invited to this event.

On November 2, 2011 in the conference hall of Kherson CCI a meeting concerning the development of investment model of Kherson industrial complex was held.

The main topics proposed for consideration within the Forum covered on the national priorities of economic policy, economic growth, investment and infrastructure development, modern models of cross-border cooperation, strategic planning and regional development.
