2019.05.21 Kherson Chamber of Commerce and Industry participated in the Ukrainian-Lithuanian seminar
Having signed the Association Agreement with the EU, Ukraine has changed the foreign economic vector and undertook to harmonize legislation. Thus, on May 21, 2019, representatives of the Kherson Chamber of Commerce and Industry attended a Ukrainian-Lithuanian seminar to discuss how to go through European integration and maintain the ecological and economic balance. USPP, the Confederation of Industry of Lithuania, regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry, business representatives and scientists have discussed trade partnership, cooperation and solving environmental problems of water supply and sanitation.
The event focused on strengthening partnerships with business to achieve the UN's Sustainable Development goals, including integrated partnership-building between governments, the private sector and society.
During the plenary part of the seminar there were discussed the agrarian potential of the Kherson region in export projection, innovative biotechnologies for environmental protection and for agriculture, the possibility of water reuse in the Kherson region, and many others.
